A little experience goes a long way

35 years of making things happen.

From 18 years in commercial radio to building Curly Media, I’ve worked with businesses, schools, charities and organisations across a wonderfully varied mix of sectors.

Sometimes I’ve been brought in to develop a brand. Sometimes to find new customers. Sometimes to create a campaign or help a team become better at selling. And quite often, it’s been all of the above.

Hello! I'm Bexy. Which of these sounds most like you?

We need more customers.

Then let’s go and find them. I’ll spot the opportunities, open doors, pick up the phone and follow up, so conversations turn into business.

Our social media has gone quiet.

Let’s get it talking again. Strategy, copywriting, photography, video, reels, campaigns and ongoing content creation.

We've got a great business, but nobody knows about us.

Sometimes a great business simply isn’t being seen enough. Let’s change that.

We should be doing more marketing.

Ideas, strategy and creative campaigns that have a purpose. Not marketing for marketing’s sake.

We haven't got time to do it ourselves.

That’s what an experienced extra pair of hands is for. I get stuck in and get things done.

We need somebody to go out and find opportunities.

I don’t just identify opportunities and send an email. I’ll introduce your business, start the conversation, listen, follow up and nurture the relationship.

We can't justify employing someone full-time.

You don’t need to. Use as much or as little of my experience as you need, without the full-time salary.

We don't know where to start.

That’s where I come in. I’ll look at your business with fresh eyes and say: “Right. This is where I think we should start.”

The simplest explanation

Three things every business needs. One outcome.

Sales, marketing and communications are the tools. Growth is the result.

01

Get seen.

Marketing that puts the business in front of the right people.

  • Social media
  • Campaigns
  • Content
  • Brand development
  • Websites
  • Photography
  • Creative ideas
  • Promotions

Sometimes a great business simply isn’t being seen enough.

Let's change that.

02

Get talking.

Because people buy from people. Great communication starts conversations, and conversations build relationships.

  • Customer communications
  • Messaging
  • Outreach
  • Community engagement
  • Storytelling
  • Making introductions
  • Picking up the phone

Let's start some conversations.

03

Get growing.

This is where sales and business development come in.

  • Finding potential customers
  • Opening doors
  • Developing partnerships
  • Following up opportunities
  • Building relationships

Turning conversations into business. Growth is the outcome of everything Curly Media does.

Let's make things happen.

An experienced extra pair of hands

You don't necessarily need another employee.

Sometimes you just need the right person.

That’s Curly Media. Think of me as your outsourced sales, marketing and communications support – without the full-time salary.

The thread running through everything

People buy from people.

Great marketing gets you noticed. Great conversations build relationships. I do both.

People do business with people

Sometimes, I just pick up the phone.

It sounds ridiculously simple. But in a world of emails, DMs, automated responses, algorithms and AI, we’ve somehow forgotten one of the most powerful ways to do business.

We talk to people.

What I do

Sales. Marketing. Communications.

Ideas that get businesses noticed. Relationships that help them grow.

Marketing

Campaigns, social media, content, design and creative ideas that put you in front of the right people.

Communications

Working out what you want to say, who you need to say it to and how to communicate it brilliantly.

Sales

Finding opportunities, opening doors, making introductions and turning conversations into business.

Growth is the result.

My work

Pretty is good. Effective is better.

Great creative should look good. But it should also do something. A beautiful campaign that nobody responds to is just a beautiful campaign.

A rather varied client list

  • Rosemary Shrager’s Cookery School
  • Ward Security
  • British Wireless for the Blind Fund
  • The Coffee Bean Shop
  • Curiously Kentish
  • Bay-Kent
  • Manor House Nursery Group & Forest School
  • The Mortgage Man

And that's just how I like it.

The human bit

You get me.

When you work with Curly Media, you’re not passed between an account manager, salesperson, social media team and creative department. You get Bexy.

No big agency.

No complicated jargon.

No full-time salary.

Just an experienced extra pair of hands who gets stuck in and gets things done.

She gets things done.

That's where I come in.
